How to pull-off the perfect Italian Nachos With Amazing Homemade Alfredo Sauce

  • Prep toppings a day before or the morning of assembling to save some time at mealtime.
  • Alfredo Sauce will store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Cut won ton wraps in half forming a triangle. Fry and set aside on paper towels.
  • Add any toppings you'd like and add more or less depending on your preference.
  • Cook wonton chips no more than a couple hours before assembling nachos. You'll want these delicious chips super fresh!
  • Pre-cut olives will also save you some extra time.
  • Using a La Roma tomato will give you a firmer tomato which is recommended for these nachos.
  • You can also use store-bought alfredo, but homemade is so easy and it's a total game changer!

How to make the won ton Chips

Cut won ton wraps in half forming a triangle. Fry and set aside on paper towels.

Homemade Alfredo Sauce for Italian Nachos

Make your Alfredo sauce by combining 1/2 cup real butter (salted), 4 oz. cream cheese, 2 cups cream, 1 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp. garlic powder, and 1 1/2 tsp. salt. Cook over low to medium heat until everything is melted together and creamy.

Layering your Italian Nachos with Amazing Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Layering your Italian Nachos

Cook 2 chicken breasts and shred or chop them. We recommend cooking them in a little olive oil with salt and pepper. Now that all of your toppings are prepped, it's time to assemble your nachos! **If prepping your chicken ahead of time, cook as mentioned above. Then, throw it in a container and put it in either the fridge or freezer, depending on when you need it. Heat up your chicken in a microwave prior to using if you prepped ahead.

Divide your crispy won ton chips between the two jelly roll pans. Drizzle the Alfredo sauce over all of the chips. Divide the sauce evenly between the two pans.

Layer the nachos with the remaining toppings saving the cheese as your last layer.

Broil the nachos for a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Hello, I was wondering What kind of oil do you fry the won tons in?

Any frying oil will work. We have used peanut, vegetable, and canola and all have worked great!
