Easy Pumpkin French Toast

August 1, 2020 by Sadie 2 Comments

Easy PUMPKIN FRENCH TOAST WITH BUTTERMILK SYRUP AND ROASTED PECANS is a fabulous fall treat that everyone should experience! What a great brunch recipe too!

Fall is my favorite season!! Not just for this easy pumpkin french toast recipe, though. I love the crisp air and the beautiful leaves as they changes to various colors. I love the fresh new start of a new school year, and making memories with my little family at the pumpkin patch and apple orchard.

I'm guilty of having Mrs. Meyers all-purpose cleaner in fall scents stocked up in the garage so I can enjoy Apple Cider and Pumpkin smells all year long. I may or may not burn fall smelling candles all year as well! I know what I like and I don't deviate! Even my home year round resembles fall with the green and rust tones throughout.

I must admit that I don't love the taste of pumpkin in all the things. I have actual nightmares about the 3 ingredient pumpkin cookies that are floating around pinterest. Just the thought of them give me the chills! I do however love pumpkin bars and this recipe of course!

Such a fabulous fall treat that everyone should experience! What a great brunch recipe too! on a cool fall morning!

This recipe is a family favorite around fall time! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

What toppings should i use?

We HIGHLY recommend you top your finished french toast with our homemade buttermilk syrup. Buttermilk syrup is a caramel/vanilla syrup that is buttery and delectable. I promise you'll want to top all of your pancakes and waffles throughout the year with Buttermilk Syrup. Roasted Pecans, chopped also make add a fabulous crunch and make a great topping! If you've never roasted pecans before, scroll down to see the process in action.
