Please don't hate me for sharing this pecan pie recipe! It's the easiest pecan pie to make and is so delicious! I use to sneak my Grandpa Arave over a piece the night before Thanksgiving! I always thought I was so sneaky helping him get his sugar fix! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as our family does!
Southern Pecan Pie
3 eggs
2/3 cup white sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup pecans, halves
1 unbaked pie crust, 9 inch
3 eggs
2/3 cup white sugar
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup pecans, halves
1 unbaked pie crust, 9 inch
Mix eggs, sugar, syrup, and butter together. Put pecans in the bottom of the pie crust and pour filling over it. Place on a jelly roll pan (just in case it spills over the edge) and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Step-by-step
Combine sugar and eggs in a bowl.
Add corn syrup and melted butter. Mix with a kitchen aid or hand mixer until combined.
Make or buy a pie crust. This is our Grandma Arave's recipe and it's the best!
Spread your pecan halves on the uncooked pie shell.
Give your filling a quick stir with a spoon.
Pour filling over pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Enjoy!
