EASY AND AFFORDABLE BATHROOM UPDATE USING PAINT
I'm a firm believer that you should love the space you live in, even if it's putting a bandaid on it while you save for your dream makeover. We have lots of changes coming up for our little family, so I've refocused my remodeling dreams for the next few months to simpler makeovers. This bathroom needed an update on a budget and that's just what it got!! I LOVE the way this easy and affordable bathroom update using paint turned out!!
BEFORE and AFTER
I painted the entire room with Behr Pure Ultra White in a matte finish. I used the Behr Express service and it's so convenient. The paint and Roller set were delivered right to my front door!
In this area I did the following: Painted the cabinet with Rust-Oleum's Cabinet Transformation, made a pine wood counter-top, purchased a new sink and faucet, swapped out the light, and hung a new mirror from Hobby Lobby.
I also painted the floor with Behr Porch and Patio Paint. I'll have a full tutorial on that soon!! I love the difference it made in this room so much!
Rex installed a towel warmer and it is luxurious! It's WiFi enabled and we are so excited to have it in this space! The boys love showering in this bathroom because of it! You can read more about why I love it HERE.
This bathroom took less than a week to transform and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out!

Love your bathroom! Where is the shower curtain from?thx
Cassie Goodman
Thank you Megan! It's from Target, it is actually a curtain! Here's a link https://www.target.com/p/contrast-stripe-light-filtering-curtain-panel-with-tassels-opalhouse-153/-/A-54211900?preselect=54136712#lnk=sametab

Is there a tutorial for how to make the countertop?
Cassie Goodman
No! Worst bloggers ever. We will for sure get to work on a post though!
Morgan
I would LOVE to see a DIY on the countertop! This transformation is amazing. Were the floors difficult to do? Do you have a tutorial on that?

What color did you tint the cabinet? I clicked on the link but it didn't specify color. I love this!!
Cassie Goodman
It was the "Black" that the company offers. It wasn't a special tint!
Malorie
Yes!!! Love this!! Need more info on this gorgeous countertop! What wood did you go with and what’s the stain color you used?!?!
Cassie Goodman
Hi Malorie! I used Pine 2x8 boards. It's a super soft wood, but its my favorite wood grain, so there was no talking me out of it! I used the color "Golden Oak" from the Varathane Premium line!
