Tasty Leprechaun Bait also known as Chocolate Pizza!

St. Patrick's Day is a holiday loved by my children! This year Hank told me that he was building the leprechaun a house and not a trap because the leprechaun brings the "presents" so he wants to be nice to him! I thought that was nice so I guess I'll eat this years leprechaun bait all by myself! haha This recipe is based off a long time family favorite treat that year after year my family bid on at our church's scout auction. We hope your family loves this little treat as much as ours does!

Step-by-Step

  • Gather your supplies! You'll need Rice Cripsies, a large bag of Milk Chocolate Chips, flavored mini marshmallows, skittles, M&M's, and white chocolate.
  • Melt milk chocolate chips.
  • Watch closely and stir frequently to avoid scorching.

  • Pour over rice crispy cereal and marshmallows.
  • Stir until the cereal and marshmallows are coated with chocolate.
  • Spread evenly on a greased cookie sheet (I use coconut spray).
  • Sprinkle with desired amount of skittles and m&m's.
  • Lightly press candies into chocolate.
  • Melt 10 oz bag of white dipping chocolate.
  • Drizzle over the candy.
  • Let cool then break into pieces.
Expert Tips
  • Ghirardelli Chocolate is the BEST!
  • Start by melt your chocolate for 1 minute, stir and continue melting in 30 second increments. I always have half melted chocolate chips and dipping chocolate when I finish melting. I like to stir my chocolate until its completely melted. Helps me not over cook/burn my chocolate!
  • The pan cover for the jelly roll pan is a MUST!
