We call this layered pudding dessery "Pudding Supreme". Pudding Supreme is a favorite family recipe. A buttery crust with layers of cream cheese, pudding, and whipped topping, make this a dessert worth making!

Mix flour, nuts, and butter in a bowl

Pat in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish

Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes. Cool.

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar

Add cool whip

Set aside

Prepare instant vanilla pudding and allow to set slightly

Prepare second pudding of choice. We used lemon. Set slightly

Spread cream cheese layer on cooled crust. The crust is delicate, so add mounds of mixture

Use a butter knife to spread the mixture over the crust

Add your vanilla pudding layer on top of the cream cheese layer

Next add your second layer of pudding. We used lemon.

Finish by topping with cool whip and chopped nut. Cool in refrigerator for at least an hour. Enjoy!!

Ingredients
  

Layered Pudding Crust

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (walnuts, almonds, pecans etc.)
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted

Layer 1- Cream cheese

  • 1 8 oz. Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cool whip

layer 2- Vanilla pudding

  • 1 package Instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 1/2 cup milk

Layer 3- Chocolate or Lemon pudding

  • 1 package Chocolate or lemon Instant pudding
  • 2 1/2 cup milk

Layer 4

  • 1/2 container cool whip

Instructions
 

Pudding Crust

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Pat into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Set aside to cool.

Layer 1- Cream Cheese

  • Whip all ingredients together until smooth and fluffy.
  • Spread onto cooled crust.

Layers 2 & 3- Pudding

  • Whip instant pudding and milk until smooth.
  • Allow to set slightly.
  • Spread both flavors of pudding as layers 2 & 3.

Layer 4

  • Spread cool whip over other 3 layers.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts as a garnish.
  • Cover dessert and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

    What size instant pudding, the recipe doesn't state!!
