Skor Bar Cookies
****WARNING you will not be able to eat just one of these! This recipe comes from one of my besties Avery! They are divine! The little toffee pieces make the outside a little crunchy and the inside is soft...these are a must try!!
Skor Bar Cookies
1 cup butter, softened not melted!
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt (I use 3/4 tsp.)
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (ghirardelli are the best)
1 cup toffee pieces (I just buy the Heath pieces in the baking section. I know I know they are "skor cookies" but I use Heath. It's all about the convenience)

Cream butter, sugars, and eggs. Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix for a couple seconds. Add flour and mix for a couple seconds. Next add you chocolate chips and toffee bits and mix just until combined. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes, just until golden. Cool on wire rack and enjoy!
Step-by-Step
Cream butter, sugars, and eggs.
Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix for a couple seconds, (2 or 3 paddle turns).
Add flour and mix for a couple seconds. Then add chocolate chips and toffee pieces. Mix until combined. Don't over mix!
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes. Cool on cooling rack.
