ah-mazing!! I'd like to say that these are healthy, but let me tell you that all good things have either flour, sugar, or lots of butter. You my friends are lucky because this recipe has TWO of them!!

Have you ever tasted a rice crispy treat that's hard and dry (shudder)? Seriously, that's the worst. I'd rather eat a nasty pre-packaged one! This recipe involves a microwave...no "double broiler" here. You will not have an over cooked hard rice crispie treat!
Microwave Rice Crispie Treats
2 bags mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cubes butter (melt for 1 minute in microwave before adding to marshmallows)
1 box Rice Crisp RiceInstructions: In a large microwave safe bowl add 2 bags mini marshmallows and 1 1/2 cubes semi melted butter. Melt marshmallows Watch closely so you don't cook too long, mine take about 3 minutes, Completely mix butter and marshmallows together (if you don't the treats will be tough). Start adding crisp rice cereal a little at a time. Keep adding and mixing until you've reached your desired consistency! Pat into a greased jelly roll pan. Let cool before cutting. Enjoy!!

The pictures below are at 1 minute, 2 minute, and 3 minutes. Three minutes in my microwave is perfect. The butter will not be incorporated so fold the mixture together until the are completely mixed. If you don't the butter will make the crispies tough.
