Decadent brown sugar icing for homemade banana bread
As if banana bread could get any better right?! I'm here with an icing recipe that will change your banana bread for the better! My friend Karie from Cleveland let me use his recipe of hers We met when both of our husbands were in medical school. Karie brought me a couple loaves of banana bread to the hospital when I had Beck. This delicious caramelly goodness will quickly become a favorite at your house, I just know it!

Caramel Icing
1 cube REAL butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup hot milk
Powdered sugar
Instructions: Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Cool for 15 minutes. Add 1/4 cup hot milk and beat until smooth. Beat in enough powdered sugar until you get an icing like consistency. Once banana bread is out of the pan, pour icing on. Enjoy!Step-by-step

    Oh the baked goods I’m gonna put this on! I made it for banana bread but after tasting it I knew it had to be put on fancy shmancy waffle truck style diy waffles. Thanks for this super easy, tasty recipe.
