Christmas came early this year for us! We got a Green Mountain Grill smoker for Christmas in July. I think it's Davids most favorite gift he has ever received. We found this bacon chicken breast recipe on the GMG website and adjusted a few things to make it our own!
You will need:
A Smoker!
A Smoker!
Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts:
Chicken Breasts
Bacon, uncooked
Weber Garlic & Herb Seasoning
Olive Oil
Toothpicks
Instructions: Drizzle olive oil on chicken breasts. We use about 1/2 a tablespoon per breast. Season chicken with garlic and herb seasoning. We are pretty generous with our seasoning--1 Tablespoon per breast. Wrap chicken breasts in bacon. Secure with toothpicks as you go. Prepare your smoker and turn on to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Chicken must reach 165 degrees before it is done. Ours takes 1 1/2 hours to cook. We stick a probe in the thickest part of the meat we are cooking. When it reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit, we know that it is cooked perfectly!
