Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sift all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl, set aside.
Beat eggs, butter, sugar, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add 1 C. of your chocolate chips and mix well.
Pour batter into greased jelly roll pan, smoothing it out.
Take the remaining 1/2 C. chocolate chips and spread them over the top of the batter.
Lightly push them into the batter so they aren't sitting on top.
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 25 minutes.
The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
