Crockpot Spare Ribs

Equipment

  • crockpot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 rack Spare Ribs
  • Favorite Rib Rub/Seasonings
  • Favorite BBQ Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Prep ribs by removing membrane and cutting pork ends off.
  • Sprinkle rib rub of choice on both sides of rack.
  • Place the rack in the crockpot, bending the rack so it fits.
  • Set crockpot on high for a cooking time of 4-5 hours OR low for 7-8 hours.
  • When ribs start to fall off the bone, they are done!
  • Once done, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Brush BBQ sauce on the rack of ribs and broil in oven for 2 minutes to carmelize the sauce.
  • Enjoy!

A good rule of thumb: ribs are done when they fall off the bone.
Pork end pieces that you remove can be seasoned and cooked with the ribs.
Aluminum foil on cookie sheet is strictly for cleanup.
