Buttercream Frosting
- 1/3 cup salted butter, softened
- 3 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 1/5 tsp almond extract
Cookie dough
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cut in butter.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Slowly add in flour mixture.
Roll dough out 1/4" thick and cut out cookies.
Transfer cut out cookies to a greased cookie sheet using a thin metal spatula. (silicon baking mat or parchment paper recommended)
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 minutes.
We highly recommend using a silicon baking mat AND using a thin metal spatula so cookies do not lost their shape while being transfered to the cookie sheet.
Start by adding 2 tbsp. of milk to dough. Only add more milk if dough seems too dry. Do not exceed recommended 4 tbsp. of milk or else cookies will be too runny.
Be sure to flour work surface AND the top of the dough while rolling out cookies.
